Prominently featuring Petite Sirah - inky-black and densely structured - with Grenache and/or Cabernet Sauvignon added to the blend depending on the vintage, the Riserva undergoes extended barrel aging to round out the tannins and give it a distinctly old-world mouthfeel. A terroir expressive and seamlessly integrated red wine, it will pair beautifully with a variety of foods, but especially rustic comfort food dishes like pot roast, cassoulet, or chicken pot pie. |
